Grateful for your eloquence. Demystifying the 2 paths clearly. Just like that. Rejoice! Thanks very much Dr Cort. We learnt much from your clarity. 🙏❤️🎇

I suppose that moving four times from my home country rebuilding a family life every time and be accepted in new societies was enough for my young mind to erase any personal feelings and live in an alert state all those years.

Now to mention the personal losses that occurred in those years and the guilt

that rose from the fact that you could not be with the ones that were suffering and passed.

Now that the children are adults and I have time for myself I find very difficult to regain some peace of mind.

The layers of mental scars accumulated from past events seem to be impenetrable.

My only grounding tool is a daily meditation following the Healthy Mind Program recording while I walk my dogs during which I am reminded to live a calmer life looking through awareness, compassion and wisdom lenses.

Hello - I found you 2 luminaries thru the Service Space Flourishing POD...and now I'm a Healthy Minds App evangelist! : )

An Offering: This post reminded me of a poem that was delivered thru me in 2012-I hope it helps reduce suffering in the world or at least makes an impact on one reader.

Healing - August 31, 2012

Healing

Doesn’t mean being fixed

By someone else

Cutting out the bad parts and then being OK

With what remains

Healing is learning

That what is there

From the beginning

Silently waiting within

Is all that is needed

For good health

To know your truth and be healed

Clutter must be removed

Guilt no longer present

Societal expectations peeled away

And the inner soul allowed to speak

This voice requires stillness and silence

And trust

And respect

Before telling its secrets

Healing is attained

When we understand

Our gates of Hell

Are locked from within us

And the key

Is our inner voice

Waiting to be invited

To lead us out and into the light

I'm gonna sound naive with this question. Is it possible to measure the brain of participants during pointing out instruction?

Hi Cort, in the end, you say, “It is right here, waiting to be recognized.” I look at my experience, and it’s ordinary. The world is still the world. I guess that’s enough.

A beautiful, concise and fully relatable description of Rigpa, and the paths to unveil recognition. 🙏🏼

Definitely have heard rigpa but the first time getting to hear ngöndro. Any resources you could point me to? Thank you both!
